Troubleshooting: If Your Publix Birthday Reward Did Not Appear

When the treat never shows up, work through these in order.

You missed the 10-day window. The most common cause. Your birthdate must be entered at least 10 days before your birthday for the treat to trigger.
You are in the wrong account. People with two phone numbers often check the wrong one. Confirm it is the account with your birthdate.
The 2 weeks passed. The offer expires about 2 weeks after it arrives. Check your offers for the exact dates.
Notifications are off. You also get an email when the reward is ready. Enable emails so the alert reaches you.
Your store is not participating. Most Publix stores participate, but confirm yours does before you visit.

Tips To Make Sure You Never Miss the Birthday Reward

Five habits that protect your free treat:

Tip 1: Set your birthdate at signup. Enter it the day you join Club Publix. The Publix birthday reward needs the 10-day lead time.
Tip 2: Check offers a week early. The treat arrives 5 to 7 days before your birthday. Peek at your offers so you know it is there.
Tip 3: Pick the higher-value option. The treat is worth up to $10. Compare the bar cake and ice cream prices and take the better deal.
Tip 4: Use your phone number at checkout. Enter it or pay with the Publix app. Without it, the register will not see your offer.
Tip 5: Watch for half-birthday perks. Publix sends half-off ice cream coupons on your half-birthday, plus freebie coupons all year.
