Your phone number is the redemption key.

  1. Join My Cold Stone Club free in the app or online.
  2. Add your birthday to your rewards profile.
  3. Wait for the coupon to load about 7 days before your birthday.
  4. Redeem in-store by entering your phone number on the terminal before paying.
  5. Or redeem in the app by selecting the coupon when ordering.

How to claim your Cold Stone birthday reward in 4 easy steps

Enter your phone number before paying, not after. Rewards coupons generally must be applied during the transaction, so do not wait until the payment is done.

Troubleshooting: If Your Cold Stone Birthday Reward Did Not Appear

Check these before your two-week window closes.

The coupon had not loaded yet. It appears about 7 days before your birthday. Checking a month early will show nothing.
You paid before entering your phone number. The terminal applies the coupon when your number is entered before payment. Once the sale is complete, it is usually too late to add it.
You used a different phone number. The coupon is tied to the number on your rewards account. A spouse’s number or an old one will not trigger it.
The two weeks expired. The coupon stays valid for two weeks from loading. After that it disappears.
Your store does not participate. Cold Stone runs on franchises, and participation varies. Check your location in the app first.

Tips To Make Sure You Never Miss the Birthday Reward

Five habits that protect your BOGO:

Tip 1: Confirm your birth date months early. The coupon schedules off this date. Enter it when you join so the 7-day loading happens on time.
Tip 2: Check your account a week out. Open the app 7 days before your birthday and confirm the coupon is there before you plan the trip.
Tip 3: Bring a friend by design. The BOGO Creation is built for two. Plan the visit with someone so the free half never goes to waste.
Tip 4: Use the sign-up bonus head start. Joining My Cold Stone Club gives you 25 bonus points, which is halfway to a $5 reward you can spend on a future visit.
Tip 5: Keep the same phone number. The coupon keys off your account number. Update it in your profile if you ever change numbers.
